Or, at least Billy Corgan once said, and I’m paraphrasing, that this song would have been the hit “Adore” lacked. I liked the Machina II version of this song, but this is even better. “Adore” had its moments, but I think this song— and eliminating some of the filler– would have elevated the album. Not to “Siamese Dream”-level greatness, but to something great.
